As a Business Analyst, from Day 1, you will be challenged with a variety of tasks, ranging from creating datasets, reports and dashboards to metadata modeling, pipeline monitoring, and more.

· You have extensive experience working with extremely large data sets and are comfortable with various tools and technologies to consume, extract and transform data.
· You have experience in creating dashboards and visualizations of processed data, identifying trends & anomalies, and providing unique ways to present data and information in an easy to consume format.
· You have business communication skills to be able to work with product owners to understand key business questions, and are able to build solutions (reports / dashboards) that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately.
. You are comfortable juggling competing priorities and handling ambiguity. You thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives.

You will help translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement.
You will develop dashboards that provide insights into the health and state of the business, create analytics solutions to drive deep dives, and determine ways to measure impact.
You will provide insights and analytical solutions to help drive operational efficiencies, uncover the hidden risks and trends, reduce investigation errors, improve customer experience and predict & recommend the optimizations for future state.
You will interact with internal program and product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, structure scalable and perform data solutions, and gain a deep understanding of key datasets.
You will own the design, creation, and management of extremely large datasets.
You will be responsible to tune query performance against large and complex data sets.
You will design, implement and drive adoption of new analytic technologies and solutions and promote industry standard best practices.

The IPP team is a part of Amazon's Selling Partner Services (SPS) organization. The team's vision is to use data provided by Brands in the Brand Registry to prevent Brands eligible for protections worldwide from ever seeing an ASIN on Amazon that has invalid data (e.g. misuse of trademarks, copyright) associated with their Brand on Amazon. We strive to make Amazon the best way for Selling Partners to operate their businesses by protecting their intellectual property while reaching customers locally and globally.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
