As part of a diverse and hardworking team of electronics manufacturing professionals, you will play a key role in the development and deployment of complex manufacturing test equipment for spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on the development of the next generation rocket engines that will take us back to the moon...this time to stay. You will be responsible for the development, troubleshooting, maintenance and operation of advanced rocket engine Avionics' Test Systems, as well as installation and qualification at Blue's electronics manufacturing suppliers. Responsibilities include: Work directly with Tester Hardware and Tester Software Engineers in the development, test and qualification of Test System's hardware and software applications Build harnessing and load box assemblies for Test systems Perform routine maintenance and calibration on Engine Avionics' Test Systems Review, improve and execute various test procedures and processes Provide input on how to streamline test procedures as well as incorporate process improvement techniques into the manufacturing testing processes and procedures General troubleshooting of Test Systems', Instrumentation and Software Debugging Uphold 5S principles to keep the AVINPI Team's avionics test lab clean and organized Manage the development test asset hardware or Device Under Test (DUT) and test system configurations during the test system development phase Bring up and qualify Blue test systems at EMS suppliers Qualifications: 2 years' experience in electronic test systems troubleshooting, repair, and operation 2years' experience assembly or manufacturing experience, including solder work Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and schematics Ability to read and understand technical manuals/detailed work instructions Demonstrated ability to work with electronic test instruments, systems and software Strong knowledge of 5S, ESD, FOD and Tool Control best practices Ability to lead and train fellow technicians in the use and troubleshooting of various Test Systems Basic knowledge in electronics and common passive components found in Test Systems Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windchill High attention to detail Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: 4+ years' experience in the aerospace industry, aerospace maintenance or aerospace engineering. 4+ years' experience supporting manufacturing test systems for space grade avionics.
