THREE: Job Opportunity

Job Title: Amusement & Recreation Attendant & Driver -CARNIVAL, itinerant carnival.

Duties:  *Perform variety of attending duties at traveling carnival; set up, tear-down, operate amusement rides, food concessions, game concessions and/or novelty concessions.  Drive vehicle(s) on the showgrounds for set-up and tear down and also drive vehicles from venue to venue on an itinerary.  *

Must be in possession of a CDL Class A license (or foreign equivalent) valid for USA.

Must be able to pass the US Department of Transportation Drug Screen and Physical.

Minimum Education Required:  None.

Minimum Experience Required:  None.

Work Hours & Days:  Work schedule varies widely, typically 40 H/W Wed-Sun, 1:00PM to 10:00PM.

Anticipated Start Date of Job Opportunity:  January 01, 2025

Anticipated End Date of Job Opportunity:  October 31, 2025

Other requirements:  Post-employment random drug testing and background checks may be required, at no cost to the worker. The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at all the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules.

FOUR: Geographic Area of Intended Employment:

Work starts in King County WA with additional work to follow in various locations along an itinerary: Merced, Imperial, Sonoma, Riverside Counties CA; Maricopa County AZ; Alameda, San Joaquin, Contra Costa Counties CA; Pinal County AZ; Marin, San Mateo Stanislaus, Solano, San Bernardino, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Tehama, Kern, San Benito, Glenn, Tulare, Placer, Butte, Orange, Fresno, Mendocino, Sacramento, Santa Clara, Shasta, Counties CA; King County WA; Washington County OR; Clark County WA; Nevada County CA; Lewis County WA; Ada County ID; Snohomish County WA; Inyo County CA; Bingham County ID; Spokane, Yakima Counties WA.

Must commute from home at prior worksite, to next worksite.  Optional transportation offered by the employer at no cost to the worker.

FIVE: Wage that the employer is offering:

*Employer will pay the prevailing hourly wage for each work location, ranging from $24.57 to $32.48, as per the prevailing wage determination. *

Merit increases and/or bonuses may be awarded at employer discretion.

Our company will abide by California Industrial Welfare Commission Wage Order No 10, as it relates to the employer's responsibilities to the workers.   Our company will abide by California Labor Code Section 515 and 2802 regarding payment of travel-related expenses (when applicable).  Our company will pay the higher of the local (city or county), state or federal minimum wage, or the prevailing wage, for any affected worksites included in its itinerary in California.
