Seattle Colleges Admissions Specialist in Seattle, Washington

Seattle Central College is looking to hire an Admissions Specialist (Program Specialist 2) in Seattle Central College Admissions

*Salary Range for this position is $45,900 to $59,724 annually *(depending on experience).

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Specialist is responsible for processing new student applications, providing excellent customer service, and following all FERPA rules and college policies. This role is heavy in technical knowledge and also face-to-face support for new and prospective students. In many ways, the Admissions Specialist is a college ambassador, serving new and prospective students both in person and via remote means. Extensive time at the Admissions counter window is expected. The role handles many aspects of matriculation and associated system actions, ensuring that students are well-served quickly and accurately. The Admissions Specialist helps to ensure that as many new students as possible have accurate residency coded in their profile before their first term with the college.

*This position is Full time, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday,  primarily 8AM to 4:30PM. This position is eligible for overtime. *

This position works Monday through Thursday on site; Remote on Fridays

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by WFSE
