The Spirit of the Position: Job description The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The Administrative Assistant oversees the operations for a parking location, under the direction of the Facility Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. The Admin/Assistant Manager supports the accounting department and operational teams in ensuring accuracy in reporting client financial information in a timely and accurate manner. The Admin/Assistant Manager reviews and approves reports and creates documentation that will allow for the efficient "flow" of information. This is an hourly position with great pay and benefits! $27.00/Hour Starting Salary Medical, dental, vision - 3 plan options! 401(k) with Employer Match Responsibilities: Answer phones and direct calls with a positive attitude and an energetic work ethic. Basic administrative duties. Customer support for various locations involving monthly Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations. Maintaining and upkeeping our Accounts Receivables. Following up with customers with past due accounts and contacting customers for payment. Account maintenance and new account enrollment, utilizing a proprietary AR System. Greet customers and clients with a positive, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude and try to assist in any way possible. Input Daily Revenue Reports. Take cash/check deposits to the bank daily. Retrieve mail from mailroom. Answer incoming emails and electronic requests. Manage customer waiting list via online enrollment option. Follow any directives from the location manager. Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and office. Promote good customer relations by consistently providing exemplary customer service with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times. Maintain and repair any malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure appropriate access to customers. Take orders for validations and other requests. Accept monthly parking applications and create/delete monthly parking accounts in the parking access card database and the revenue control system. Assist with cashiering functions as needed. Support Facilities Manager with time entries into payroll system, scheduling shifts, training, etc. Assist with financial management of assigned locations ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements. Assist with developing client relationships and business retention. Responsible for accurately counting physical revenue and posting daily cashier reports. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required. Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from assigned location(s). Assist with the management and development of the location(s) team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline. Managing, planning, scheduling, training, and directing the activities of Team Leaders and frontline staff. Additional related duties as assigned. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, organize, and priority Needs to be able to work standard business hours/scheduled hours and be flexible to cover cashier shifts if needed.
