Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a diligent and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist / Office Manager in Seattle, Washington. This role involves a variety of tasks including invoice processing, check runs, data entry, and office administration. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operations within the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of invoices and check runs, ensuring all transactions are properly coded.

• Liaising with building management to handle any facilities-related issues.

• Acting as a point of contact between the IT department and other staff.

• Maintaining office equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

• Overseeing the office's hard drive backup systems, ensuring data is secure and accessible.

• Assisting in managing the phone system, particularly for wholesale operations.

• Monitoring staff vacation schedules and ensuring records are up-to-date.

• Arranging conference room setups for meetings and cleaning up afterwards.

• Assisting with kitchen maintenance to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Handling outgoing mail and distribution of incoming mail.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks as necessary.

• Preparing checks and maintaining office supplies inventory.

• Managing inbound telephone calls, providing assistance where necessary.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with check runs and preparing checks

• Ability to effectively code invoices

• Demonstrated skills in data entry

• Proficient in invoice processing

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in maintaining office supplies

• Knowledgeable in office administration tasks

• Ability to handle inbound telephone calls professionally

• Experience with conference room setup and cleanup

• Skills in distributing incoming mail

• Experience handling outgoing mail
