Role Summary

Loyalty Growth Manager – Credit Cards is a subject matter expert in driving revenue by developing and implementing strategies to acquire new Alaska Airlines Visa cardholders in the U.S. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment to make decisions in driving cardholder acquisition through employee channels, and partnering cross-functionally with Bank of America, Visa, internal groups, and external agencies.

Key Duties

  • With minimal direction from leadership, proactively drive acquisition in employee channels (inflight, call center, customer service agents, lounges, corporate sales, etc.) as assigned.

  • Partner with Bank of America, Visa, and internal teams to develop and execute strategies for card acquisition campaigns, including offers, channels, messaging, frequency, etc.

  • Recommend testing strategies to continually improve and optimize acquisition initiatives.

  • Plan and execute employee engagement campaigns to increase awareness of new offers, incentivize promotion of the credit card, and reward top performers.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure account and membership goals are reached without compromising brand or customer experience.

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal Alaska teams (e.g., e-commerce, airport technology and operations, inflight, loyalty marketing, brand, and others) to identify and test new cardholder and membership acquisition initiatives and campaigns.

  • Manage established acquisition co-op budgets with Bank of America, and Visa to maximize ROI.

  • Manage acquisition reporting for assigned channels, in collaboration with the customer analytics teams and channel owners to ensure clear understanding of results and optimization opportunities.

  • With support from the Marketing team and banking partners, facilitate development and approvals of customer and employee-facing marketing ads, promotional displays, credit card and mileage plan applications, and other marketing collateral, including all internal employee channel training programs, presentations, videos, and educational tools.

  • Collaborates with banking partners, Human Resources/Training, Frontline work groups, and Legal to implement legally mandated, regulatory training and reporting programs.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

Required

  • 4 years of marketing experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

  • Proven success in developing and executing high-impact, omni-channel marketing programs.

  • Demonstrated experience with ROI analysis in Excel and PowerPoint presentations.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to see the big picture, but also detail-oriented to ensure flawless campaign delivery.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various audiences.

  • Adapt quickly to changing requirements in a competitively charged environment.

  • Innovative problem solver and willing to try new things to differentiate our product from competitors.

  • Ability to influence and interact with all levels of managers and executives, both within the group/division and across the company, as well as with external partners and agencies.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum age of 18.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • 2 years of credit card or loyalty program experience.

  • Experience in inflight channel.

Salary Range

$95,000 -- $142,600 / year

Pay Details

Honolulu: $86,400 - 129,600

Seattle: $95,000 - 142,600

Salary Details

Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.

Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
