Job Purpose: Beautifies buildings and grounds by supervising staff; and installing landscape plans. Duties: * Maintains staff by orienting and training employees. * Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. * Maintains safe and healthy work environment by inspecting work site; establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations. * Determines installation requirements by studying landscape concept, plans, specifications, and site; conferring with owner/designer * Prepares bid by calculating labor, equipment, materials, and overhead costs; obtaining approval. * Purchases materials by identifying vendors; negotiating prices; verifying quality; arranging for delivery. * Completes work by scheduling jobs; scheduling and assigning employees; monitoring work results; conferring with owner and client regarding actual placement. * Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. * Maintains historical records by filing plans and supporting data. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Nancy Fritz Designs, LLC is an established landscape company specializing in design, fine gardening, planting, hardscape installation, lawn care; the list goes on! We are seeking a landscape foreman experienced in residential and commercial landscape design, installation, and maintenance projects.

Position Requirements:
- 8+ years of horticultural lead experience in a professional setting
- Identifies as a leader, mentor, and someone who demonstrates strong work ethics
- Must be responsible, reliable, steady, organized, and take initiative
- Must have a proven history of excellent time management and effective communication
- Possesses strong ornamental and PNW weed identification skills
- Must have excellent pruning skills and be able to teach
- Irrigation - working knowledge and experience
- Sees the big picture when it comes to landscape work and knows how to prioritize tasks from start to finish
- Can complete physical labor including bending, lifting, digging, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Understand time and material record keeping and accurately record job sheets, time sheets and coach the crew
- Is willing to work a flexible schedule with some longer hours during peak season, May-August
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- MUST be willing to drive large company trucks
- Has reliable transportation to and from shop and job sites
- Must work Monday through Thursday
- Open to opportunities to grow, learn, and build as a team
- Must speak fluent English, Bilingual a plus!
- Pesticide license a plus
