job summary:
The I&E Project Manager will be responsible for managing electrical and instrumentation projects at our facility. This includes performing engineering tasks, preparing specifications, designing and checking drawings, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in industrial electrical and power systems, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Requirements:
B.S. degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or related engineering field.
Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial electrical and power systems (12kV and 480/120V, Transformers, MCC, Breakers, Motors, etc.), instrumentation (Control Valves, Transmitters, Gauges, etc.), and automation systems (PLC, HMI, Servers, and various networking protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, etc.).
Minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Manager role
Experience in specifying, installing, and calibrating instrumentation related to chemical terminals or chemical plants.
Experience with the design, specification, and installation of SCADA and PLC systems.
Knowledge of ISA Standards and NEC.
Industrial HMI and PLC programming experience is desirable but not required.

responsibilities:
Perform engineering tasks and prepare specifications for electrical and instrumentation projects.
Design and check drawings for electrical and instrumentation work, both in-house and by outside engineering consultants.
Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate proposals, and manage the engineering, purchasing, and construction of electrical and instrumentation projects.
Prepare, update, and maintain electrical and instrumentation specifications.
Inspect, review, and administer work performed by electrical and instrumentation contractors to ensure performance, quality, operability, and cost-effectiveness.
Review, audit, and provide feedback on the safety practices of electrical and instrumentation contractors.
Perform cost estimates and preliminary engineering for proposed projects.
Assist maintenance department technicians with troubleshooting, specifications, and design of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies, including the Code of Conduct.
Cooperate with and support colleagues in various departments.
In case of absence, the employee's supervisor will assume and/or assign responsibility for this position's duties.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
