National retail facility service company with over 20 YEARS OF SERVICE seeks motivated and RELIABLE technician to handle a variety of repair services at our retail customer's facilities in and around Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan.
This is a serious long-term career position, for a RESPONSIBLE applicant who can also work alone.
Must be able to answer and be reachable by cell phone.
Must be able to diagnose and repair:
PLUMBING, must be familiar with flush valves (Sloan, Zurn, etc) and drains (including cabling when required)
ELECTRICAL (add circuit & outlet, tracing shorts, etc).
CARPENTRY, install floor tiles including ceramic and VCT, repair and hang metal and wood doors, masonry repairs, touch-up painting, hand and finish drywall and other trades.
Servicing automatic doors and minor glass replacement is a HUGE plus and possible boost to early bonus.
Must have own tools and vehicle. Larger tools and equipment will be provided.
Must be able to work occasionally overtime and on-call.
Must be able to respond to emergency requests on occasion.
Must be extremely detail-oriented and complete all aspects of projects.
Candidates must be clean, neat, share a positive attitude, be PROFESSIONAL and possess excellent people skills.
On-call basis to start. The serious Technician will quickly demonstrate his reliability and move to full time. Company vehicle as job proficiency is demonstrated.
MERIT-BASED RAISES AND BONUSES!
25/hour to START/train PLUS mileage, or commensurate with experience. Salary paid in full weekly;
