Description
Robert Half, an internationally acclaimed staffing agency, seeks a Human Resource (HR) Specialist with medical field exposure for our healthcare client.
The HR Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing HR policies, programs, and services, including legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices and procedures, and employee communications in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and manage HR policies and procedures for the medical staff.
Lead in planning and conducting new employee orientation in order to promote positive work culture.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws concerning human resources in healthcare.
Provide advice to other department managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws.
Administer benefits programs, annual evaluation, salary administration, and employee development.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required. Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years HR experience in healthcare or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical practices.
Demonstrated competence in various HR functional areas: workforce planning, employee relations, law and regulations of healthcare, compensation, and benefits.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
