FirstService Residential Server in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Overview:

As the Server, you will ensure guests have a great dining experience by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, tending to diners, and answering questions to provide superior customer service.

Compensation: $14.35 per hour + tips

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests
  • Present menu and specials to guests
  • Answers questions or make recommendations
  • Take and serve orders in a timely manner
  • Resolve any customer complaints with a positive attitude
  • Issue and close customer bills
  • Open and close duties (Sweep and mop floors, clean counter tops, clean tables, empty trash bins, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Exceptional cleanliness and safety skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Patient, with a customer orientated approach
  • Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Education and Experience:

  • 1+ year of resultant experience preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers card required

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs safely

Work Location: Scottsdale House Restaurant, 4800 N 68th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Work Hours: Part-time hours, Tuesday - Saturday; 4p - 9p
