Role Overview:

As a Plumbing Dispatcher / Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our remote plumbing services. You will be responsible for managing work orders, scheduling subcontractors, and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and on time. You will create and manage work orders for subcontractors in cities where we do not have direct employees. Your ability to manage schedules, communicate effectively with both subcontractors and customers, and maintain accurate records will contribute significantly to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize work orders using NetSuite, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Schedule and dispatch subcontractors to service calls in areas outside our direct employee network.

  • Monitor the progress of work orders and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on service status and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, subcontractor details, and customer interactions within NetSuite.

  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

  • Work closely with the management team to improve scheduling processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar role, preferably within the plumbing industry.

  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP software.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Exceptional communication abilities, with a focus on customer service.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or operations management are a plus.
