Analyze large datasets to determine trends and factors driving revenues for projects; Leverage A.I. and Machine learning techniques to develop short term price and renewable generation forecasts; Develop optimization models and algorithms to value Arevons merchant energy storage projects and to determine optimal trading strategies; Develop revenue back casts and forecasts for energy storage projects; Work with scheduling coordinators to understand their battery dispatch algorithms and approve daily trading recommendations; Development of pricing models and analytical techniques to support the Origination team in valuing solar, wind and hybrid deals; Develop and manage tools, systems and reports to support decision making. Masters degree in Computational Finance & Risk Management or a related field. Must have functional knowledge in the following: Evaluating power market risks utilizing probability theory and Monte Carlo Simulation; Conduct system-wide analysis using large scale datasets; Build machine learning models to aid in the development of battery arbitrage strategies; Create market tracking dashboard based on Python.
