YOUR ROLE AS A PURCHASING MANAGER (M/F/D)

In this job you are responsible to source Digital Media & Data by building expertise in external industries, sourcing skills, and internal categories/markets. Responsible for the coordination and execution of sourcing activities, managing internal and external relationships, and ensuring the business needs are met efficiently. Responsibilities include defining and executing sourcing recommendations with basic proficiency in all sourcing skills; accountability for delivery of fundamentals such as supply assurance, value creation, and compliance to policies; determining insights from analytics and recommending strategic interventions; ownership for defining and executing of sourcing tactics, including stakeholder alignment and external communication; leading projects on defined intervention areas (savings, technical, cost structure, relationship, stewardship).

Develop innovative and scalable marketing & data sourcing solutions as well as plan and lead sophisticated execution approaches. Build on your purchases proficiency in marketing sourcing and get broad responsibilities to set and influence the strategic direction with our collaborators. You will develop a strategic sourcing focus as well as good knowledge in project management. We work in an inclusive environment that promotes and values the strengths of each team member. Job Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or Master's in economics, business administration or industrial engineering (having marketing/innovation education background is a plus)

  • Fluent English & good German proficiency (verbal and written), other language skills are a benefit.

  • You're capable of explaining complex topics in a simple and concise way that helps broader audiences understand the vision, choices, risks, and benefits. You can use your strong communication skills to influence leaders in other functions both regionally and globally.

  • Strong relationship building capabilities and the demonstrated skill to understand organizational and multicultural dynamics as well as work effectively in a diverse environment and across multifunctional teams.

  • You are able to collaborate with the team, work against common visions, objectives, and difficult decisions to gain leadership alignment for key decisions.

  • A demonstrated ability of working with discipline in an autonomous environment where you are driving decisions to closure, balance multiple and competing priorities, and deliver results.

  • A strong analytical mentality and the capability to drive decisions based on data.
