And what do you do during your dual studies?

Procter & Gamble offers the Business Informatics course of study with its focus on Software Engineering. The course of studies extends over a period of 3 years and ends with the Bachelor of Science.

The theoretical part takes place at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in Mannheim. The theoretical and the practical part change every three months, so that you spend half of the semester at the university and the other half of the practical part at the Schwalbach location.

As a dual student in Business Informatics Software Engineering, you will work closely with the business and plan and implement the technical side of IT systems using modern project management methods. You will learn how to use programming languages, data models and modern analysis techniques to implement creative and value-adding solutions in the areas of supply chain optimization, the Internet of Things and customer needs. Developing a basic understanding of business administration is part of the training.

What qualifications should you have for your dual studies?·

  • You have an enthusiasm for IT and business topics

  • You are motivated, self-organized and can think analytically

  • You enjoy working in a team and showing initiative

  • You have a talent for organization and a sense of responsibility

  • You are motivated, committed and flexible

  • You have good IT skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)

  • You have a good command of English and are dare to communicate

  • You have a very good general university entrance qualification
