This job was posted by https://www.vermontjoblink.com : For more information, please see: https://www.vermontjoblink.com/jobs/613735 Tymetal Corp. has an immediate opening for an assembler who is passionate about equipment and machinery and takes a tremendous amount of pride in his or her work. The assembler is responsible for many aspects of the aluminum crash gate assembly process, including the cutting of materials, wiring and drilling for the assembly of the finished product. The assembler will also assist in the transportation of materials and the packing of the finished product for shipment. Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is preferred.
Qualifications:
Two or more years of equipment assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of and experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Familiarity with electrical wiring processes and the ability to read electrical schematics.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with little or no supervision.
Ability to read complex blueprints and follow verbal instructions.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Attention to detail and strong planning and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry as well as push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
