Data Center is a complex application and a strategic growth area for Eaton. It has unique characteristics derived from the fact that it straddles IT and facility, and that the Data Center and IT are in the middle of a radical transformation due to the combination of digitization and surge of AI loads driving a fast growth in power needs on the one hand, and de-carbonization and grid saturation on other hand.
We are currently seeking a Quotations Architect Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in Low Voltage Switchgear with the following responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
Preparation of commercial proposals, with associated documentation for Low voltage switchgear assemblies
Low Voltage Systems Assemblies assigned to designated growth segments, Eg: data centers.
Takes part of customer projects pursuit teams when needed, under the Opportunity Leader, in Segment teams or Country Sales organization (CSO) teams.
Demonstrate ownership in supporting LV solutions proposals to drive credibility with both internal and external stakeholders
Be the commercial and technically knowledgeable support to provide detailed commercial proposals for Low voltage switchgear assemblies. Interpreting customer requests to convert to compelling offerings, whilst providing tactics to de-risk solutions on a both technical and commercial aspect
Provide all the required documentation in terms of compliance statements, Deviation and exception documents, technical submittals, and provide responses on Project PQQ (Pre-qualification questionnaires)
Work closely with our customer solutions architect’s business development managers and commercial organizations.
A strong knowledge of Low voltage switchgear assemblies, associated components, design principles and applicable codes relative to the geographical location of the projects is essential.
Activities inclusive of, but not exhaustive of:
Pull together commercial quotations for LV Switchgear.
Provide engineered proposals focused on Eaton’s solutions to optimize design for clients.
Act as the “technical” conduit between commercial organizations and the design and bid team for LV.
Support on completion of CDE (compliance, deviation, and exception) project documentation for LV.
Support on project document control
Qualifications:
University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 Years working in Low voltage systems
Skills:
Strong electrical engineering background
Low voltage application knowledge and understanding
Electrical automation and advantage IT literate
Familiar with electrical design tools and software
Fluent speaking and writing in English and German is mandatory
Good communicator and presentation skills
Self-motivated and takes ownership on results
Works well within pressurized environment
