Job Description

We are seeking a creative and driven professional for GE Vernova’s Corporate Marketing Intern role. This role reports directly to our Graphic Designer and will work closely with other team members, vendors and functions within the organization to design visuals with high impact in numerous applications. The qualified candidate will major in Graphic Design, is a quick and creative thinker, have unique ideas and an eye for detail, be highly organized, and enjoy working independently as much as in a team environment. Successful interns will gain deep experience in a large corporate marketing environment, learn a valuable and diverse set of design skills, and depart with useful contacts to further his/her career and development as a graphic design professional.

What you will do:

This role reports directly to the Senior Creative Marketing Director and will work closely with team members, vendors and other functions within the organization .

  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to create and share graphic design assets for multiple audiences.

  • Learn corporate branding guidelines and regulations

  • Gain experience in file management, set up and production

  • Attend strategy sessions and meetings to understand technology details and how to translate offerings visually

  • Learn essential tools in the Adobe Creative Suite of software and Microsoft PowerPoint

Internship Term Dates:

May/June - August 2025

Expected Work Schedule:

Day/1st -Shift (40 - hours weekly)

What You'll Bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Graphic Design

  • Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).

  • Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program

Other Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be able to develop and maintain good customer relationships

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

  • Must be willing to work in geographical area specified by the business

  • Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship

The pay for this position ranges from $19.00/hr - $30.00/hr based on years of undergrate/graduate field of study completed

This position is also eligible for:

  • Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.

  • Housing Allowance : Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

  • Employee Assistance Program , providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services

  • GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP ) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
