SUMMARY
Assists with protecting against property against damage, fire, theft, trespassing, and illegal entry through visual, CCTV, alarm, access control detection systems. Conducts assigned patrols the Main Office complex and Distribution Center and property to ensure critical areas are secured, perimeter barriers/fencing is not damaged, and to identify hazards. Monitors teammates and visitors to the distribution center and Corporate Office. Monitors all inbound and outbound traffic. Logs all POs into the Yard Management system and visually clears outbound trailers leaving the Distribution Center. Dispatches emergency calls as needed. Monitors alarms for the Stores, Distribution Center, and Main Office Complex. Reports safety and security incidents at the Main Office and Distribution Centers. Assists Management, Teammates & Vistors with access as needed per Standard Operating Procedures & Policy. Complies with all Corporate Policy, Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for monitoring all inbound and outbound traffic to include logging PO’s and verifying gate passes and inspection of out bound trailers.
Ensuring the property and building ingress and egress is secured and access control & CCTV systems are monitored and functioning properly.
Ensure identification of employees and visitors to the distribution center and Corporate Office. Assist management with access to teammates and visitors as needed.
Monitor alarms for all Store locations, Main Office, Distribution Centers, and House Calls Pharmacy. Monitor Ammonia Room and Fire Control System for the Main Office/ Distribution Centers.
Dispatch emergency calls during off-hours for issues pertaining to APD Field operations, all corporate maintenance issues, product recalls, power outages and natural disasters in the Main Office and all operation areas.
Conduct patrols at the Distribution Center and Corporate Office (foot & vehicle) to create a high visibility security presence. Ensure all critical areas are secured and access control system are properly functioning.
Report any security or policy & procedures violations and issues to supervisor.
Documents and reports incidents pertaining to the safety and security of the Corporate Office/Distribution Center complex.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures and standard operating procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a Valid Driver’s License
Must be 18 years of age
Must submit to DL Monitoring
Satisfactory performance reviews.
Strong communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent.

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services’ total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
