Senior Finance Automation Analyst

Zurich is currently looking for a Senior Finance Automation Analyst to work out of our North American head-quarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Senior Finance Automation Analyst within Finance Automation and Analytics Teamwill be responsible for maintenance of enterprise Power BI dashboards along with driving automation and process improvements within ZNA Finance. The role spans across all Market Facing Units and Functions and will be responsible for developing innovative reporting solutions to support Finance Business Partners with tracking the measurement of KPIs and progress of strategic initiatives. Ideal candidate shouldpossess intermediate to advance knowledge of development within Power BI, Alteryx and other Microsoft tools like Power Automate or/and Power Apps, etc. Project management and work prioritization experience is a plus.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Leading or supporting automation and process improvement processes across various teams within Finance

• Leading or supporting the development of new reporting initiatives for the region/segment to provide additional, deeper insight on performance trends to facilitate enhanced decision making

• Supporting the preparation of key messages, reporting and financial analysis to brief leadership teams on projected outcome of specific initiatives

• Supporting the production of benefit tracking for key initiatives within the relevant region/segment to ensure delivery of financial targets

• Developing and maintaining governance framework to ensure that business initiatives are subject to a consistent high level of financial challenge

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree Accounting or Finance and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance areaOR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience

• Project management experience

• CPA, CPCU, CFA or CTP

• Strong Microsoft Suite experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
