Hours: We are seeking candidates that will be able to work shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm CST.
Location: For external candidates, the expectation will be to work in-office (at our Schaumburg, IL, Lake Mary, FL or Meridian, ID location) five days per week for the first 18 months of employment with the chance to go to 3 days in-office depending on performance. For existing Paylocity employees, option to work hybrid/remote if tenure at Paylocity is 18 months or greater.
Position Overview
The HR Account Manager services our emerging to mid segment clients. This position is responsible for providing HR best practice guidance, producing compliant HR deliverables and introducing new products/services to the client that may help with the management of the employee life cycle. In addition, the team may make recommendations to clients regarding compensation, employee relations, recruitment, training and development, and information systems.

Primary Responsibilities
Create new single and multi-state Handbooks, policies, salary data and Job Descriptions, utilizing the resources provided.
Respond timely and accurately to client inquiries and process requests for a small load of mid-tier clients, according to established standards with attention to style, tone, and manner of communication. Client requests are received and monitored through the automated phone and email systems.
Complete research to assist with client issues in collaboration with HRAM II and IIIs to help resolve or provide information/resources for clients.
Act as liaison with Paylocity support teams to facilitate resolution of client issues regarding HR products.
Maintain knowledge of trends and changes in HR legislation, including local, state, and Federal regulations
Understand complex ideas in HR but can simplify and explain problems and solutions in terms everyone can understand.
Acts as liaison with Paylocity support teams to facilitate resolution of client issues regarding payroll and human resources products.
Maintain CES, Phone Availability, Metrics as assigned.
Participates in Internal Team Projects, provides valuable input, owns individual tasks and deliverables for projects.
Become an expert on the Learning and Recruiting application features, configuration, and supported third party software.
Ability to manage average of 120 client load (mid to executive level) with appropriate response time, call metrics, and provide HR policy updates with Federal, state, local legislative changes.
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
1+ years Customer or client facing consultative experience required
1 years of general HR experience in roles such as HR assistant, HR coordinator, or HR admin required
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Demonstrated capability in problem-solving, analyzing data, collaborating within team settings, and exhibiting professionalism
Proficiency in navigating shifting priorities, adhering to deadlines, and flexibly adapting within a dynamic business landscape
Preferred
1-3 years general HR experience in a role similar to an HR assistant, HR coordinator, or HR admin strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
PHR, or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
Demonstrated project management experience preferred

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $37,000 - $56,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
