Manufacturing Laborer Penn United Technologies, Inc. is hiring immediately for full-time Manufacturing Laborers to join our Carbide team.  This is an excellent ENTRY LEVEL position assisting in the manufacturing process.  NO prior manufacturing experience is needed.  In this position, you would work as a member of your team to learn the required tasks to safely and efficiently contribute to the team's goals.  Although your career in manufacturing may begin with this entry level position, your opportunities with Penn United are just getting started.  If you are ready to get to work and start your career in manufacturing, find out why so many of our employee-owners agree that... your journey to success starts with Penn United! Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Laborer: Collect buckets of carbide and use a dolly to deliver material to the proper area Transport buckets of material to various teams using a dolly Sift reclaim powder Crush reclaim billets Load and operate sandblaster Load and push cart to deliver carbide components to other teams within the building Follow work instructions, control and safety plans Follow directions of Team Leader This is a daylight shift position Qualifications

Qualifications of the Manufacturing Laborer: High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to comprehend written procedures High level of concentration Strong work ethics of dependability and responsibility High degree of accuracy, service attitude, commitment to quality Able to work independently and cooperatively with teams Service attitude, commitment to quality Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs frequently throughout the day
