Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials in the warehouse. We're seeking a candidate who values teamwork and thrives in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

Primary Duties

  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift and other equipment to move and store warehouse items.

  • Maintain organized storage of materials to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.

  • Accurately prepare and review shipping documentation.

  • Coordinate the internal transport and placement of materials within the warehouse.

  • Inspect incoming products and materials for quality and accuracy prior to storage.

  • Efficiently handle loading and unloading of shipments.

  • Properly store unused raw materials in designated areas after tasks are completed.

  • Comply with all safety standards and operational procedures.

  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor, including duties not explicitly mentioned in this job description.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience (0–3 years) is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow written work instructions.

  • Forklift operation experience is required.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required.

  • Regularly required to lift and move items.

salary: $17 - $17.01 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to safely move and manage products and materials within the warehouse.

  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring products and materials are properly stored and easily accessible.

  • Prepare and review shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Coordinate the transportation and distribution of materials within the warehouse.

  • Conduct inspections of incoming products, materials, and equipment to verify quality and specifications prior to storage.

  • Perform loading and unloading tasks efficiently and securely.

  • Return unused raw materials to designated storage areas upon completion of processes.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with warehouse operational procedures.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor, including tasks not explicitly outlined in this description.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • Sit Down Forklifts (1 year of experience is required)
