Job Title: Machine Setup Operator/Overnight Shift/$22-23
Job Description
The Machine Setup Operator will effectively disassemble, re-assemble, adjust, and set up equipment as needed to produce the customers' products within the desired specifications.
Responsibilities
Disassemble, re-assemble, adjust, and set up equipment such as cappers, fillers, torquers, sleevers, unscramblers, conveyors, labelers, tapers, sorters, sensors, coders, PLCs, pumps, rails, and transfer systems.
Effectively coordinate and perform tasks related to production needs, including sanitizing kits and staging parts and equipment for product changeover and setup.
Organize and stage non-sanitized parts for production changeover in a timely manner.
Ensure parts and equipment are inspected after sanitation and prior to staging.
Follow all established GMP and safety standards.
Efficiently and safely adhere to sanitation procedures, including accurate completion of sanitation forms and logs.
Perform light maintenance duties as needed to perform the sanitation job.
Coordinate and maintain a clean parts room and assist in keeping the sanitation room clean and organized on a daily basis.
Hook up totes and tanks to ensure fill gets to the production line.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
Experience with assembly and machine setup.
Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to read schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical setup technician experience.
Knowledge of GMP and safety standards.
