Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year degree program in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology or similiar field of study
Successful completion of at least 50% of credits toward degree
Other Required Qualifications
Positive and helpful attitude
Interest in manufacturing and construction business operations
High scanning accuracy and high spatial aptitude
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Capable of utilizing 3D design or modeling software (ie. Planbar, Autodesk, Revit, Solidworks, or AutoCAD)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Well organized and detail orientated
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to visit plant, yard, and project sites
Able to read and comprehend construction documents and drawings (Architectural/Structural drawings)
Preferred Qualifications
Steel and concrete design
Physical Requirements
Office: Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time
Work Environment
Office: Quiet with some ambient noise, climate controlled, fluorescent lighting
