ManpowerGroup Maintenance Mechanic in Saugerties, New York
Our client, in the machining sector, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the team supporting the Machine Operators. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with an understanding of production machinery which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm with O/T on Fridays as needed
Location: Saugerties, NY
Pay Range: $22 - $26 + per hour
What’s the Job?
Maintain & repair machinery and equipment per established schedules.
Recommend spare parts to be kept on hand for preventative maintenance.
Record parts and labor used for maintenance and repairs.
Assist in the tear down, move, and set-up of machinery and equipment.
Grounds upkeep using a riding mower and weed whacker.
What’s Needed?
Advance understanding of mechanical equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Experience with milling machines, lathes, drill presses, etc.
Ability to use micrometers, calipers, optical equipment, plug gages, etc.
Understanding of power mowing equipment and lawn mowing techniques.
