Associate Account Executive- Contract

What the day will look like
Receiving and processing client requests and reviewing documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals or cancellations;
Under the direction of the principle Account Executive, servicing existing programs, defining routine risk exposure and providing first level advice on general policy coverages;
Attending client meetings with the principle Account Executive, including C-Suite and similar level clients;
Leading the client renewal process and collaborating with all members of the client team on marketing requirements, deadlines and deliverables;
Identifying specific client risk exposure and developing and communicating innovative coverage solutions in support of existing and new business growth;
Build and maintain client relationships in order to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities;
Establishing account specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions and provide continued opportunity for Aon product / service exposure;
Coordinating client information with the Broking Team (Broker and Account Specialist) to initiate renewal process; and mid-term endorsements
Receiving policy contracts from the Broking Team, providing first level review to ensure apparent client needs have been met;
Preparing client service summaries, program reports and client survey information for review by Service Team Management;
Reviewing endorsements, cover notes and certificates of insurance produced by the Broking Team to ensure their accuracy and completion in support of the team’s service plan;
Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business the importance of best practice; and
Ensuring client files are accurate and complete by following Aon’s document compliance and standard operating procedures
How this opportunity is different
The Associate Account Executive will work directly with Commercial Account Managers to service existing clients and support in obtaining new business. This role involves managing the renewal process, delivering client services, and assisting with strategic deliverables to support client relationships and growth. The Associate Account Executive will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and receive on-the-job training to support personal and professional developmentWe encourage and support all colleagues' commitment to ongoing learning and professional development including insurance courses and certifications (i.e. Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) / Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP)).
Skills and experience that will lead to success
2-years of commercial insurance experience is preferred, however not required. A Post-Secondary business degree or industry experience is acceptable
Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines;
Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package;
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment, , including both self-directed learning and in-role training;
