Role Overview:

Master Builders Solutions is looking for a UGC (Underground Construction) Segment Specialist for our Western Canada region. Working in the underground, mining, the UGC Segment Specialist will focus on providing technical sales, service, and increasing market exposure for our technical offerings.

Location: Saskatchewan, Canada

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with target accounts, engineering firms, contractors, and underground construction organizations.

· Provides both onsite and offsite technical support and training of our chemical injection products and equipment.

· Accountable for selling target accounts by providing account-centric product solutions, driving new technology and expanding relationships.

· Provides action plans and analysis for gaining business.

· Develops and support project forecasting tools including project timelines related to product procurement and sales.

· Conducts market analysis, identifies trends, and develops action plans for prioritized and assigned accounts.

· Maintains a high degree of technical expertise across all product lines and market applications.

· Responsible for marshaling resources and managing the process for product introductions, applications, & demonstrations.

· Represents our business by attending tradeshows, seminars; promotes products and technologies through hands-on demonstrations.

This position spends a significant amount of time underground on customer sites; requiring the ability to access jobsites that may consist of entering confined spaces, tunnels, and underground mines. The employee must be comfortable in the underground mining and tunneling environment.

Position Requirements

· Mining Engineering or Mining Technology degree desired.

· Knowledge of ‘Mine Backfill’ is a plus.

· Knowledge of Concrete and admixture technology also a plus

· Working and demonstrated knowledge of ground support technologies in an underground mining environment including:

· 5 years of industry experience including sales and business experience related to the mining.

· Sprayed and in situ concrete, including mix designs and shotcrete applications.

· Excellent presentation and communication skills.

· Strong analytical and computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Requires a valid passport and driver’s license with the ability to travel 50% or more.

· Previous underground experience will be considered an asset.
