Certifications/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Applicants should feel comfortable working with students at the secondary level
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a school environment with students who have varying social, emotional, and physical needs
Experience with children on the Autistic Spectrum, including children with intensive communication needs, is preferred.
Preferred candidate has a positive attitude towards learning and is able to build good relationships with children, teachers, and staff at school
The chosen candidate should be flexible, work as a team member and be willing to learn more about working with diverse learners in our schools
Ability to multitask and be flexible
Full-time, 10-month position
Salary per CSEA contract
