Aerotek Testing Technician in Sarasota, Florida

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MRO Technician to join our dynamic aviation maintenance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the operational readiness and safety of aircraft by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical components. You’ll have the opportunity to work on advanced aviation systems, using cutting-edge tools and technology to keep aircraft in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in various aircraft components to ensure safety and functionality.

  • Repair and Maintain Aircraft Systems: Repair or replace power systems, motors, avionics, and other essential aircraft parts.

  • Component Replacement: Use hand tools and power tools to replace defective components with precision and efficiency.

  • Quality Control: Inspect replacement parts for defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Technical Documentation: Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical diagrams, and repair procedures to guide accurate repairs and ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.

  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance tasks.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations, preferably with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively in an aviation maintenance setting.

  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance manuals and ability to follow complex repair instructions.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Desired Qualifications

  • FAA Certification (or equivalent) preferred, but not required.

  • Previous experience with aviation power systems, motors, and avionics .

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
