Adecco US, Inc. Production Worker II 2nd shift in Sarasota, Florida
The Production Worker II is responsible for all duties assigned in the Production Worker I Job Description and under general supervision, assists the department lead in the daily operations of the department.
This job function directly ? Indirectly ? affects product quality.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Be proficient with use of small hand tools
Identify and follow procedures and work instructions
Transport product to next stages of production
Understand production and quality metrics and performs accordingly to meet them
Identify nonconforming product
Assist as necessary in department processes
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Follow Cleaning Checklist
Follow established company policies
Follow all established health and safety policies
Communicate with supervisors as well as other employees
Ensure that all production staff adhere to good manufacturing practices, quality policies and ISO procedures
Monitors production operations for quality and efficiency to ensure that the established goals and objectives are achieved
Position acts as back up for Unit Lead
Other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL DUTIES FOR PACKING AND CUTTING DEPARTMENTS:
Create, track, and evaluate Metrics address deviations in performance, and propose and implement solutions for improvement
Evaluate non-conformities in products, production equipment and test equipment and resolves the problems causing the non-conformities
Track and follows up on part shortages
Train and cross train staff to achieve maximum flexibility during peak or off-peak periods
Perform inventory cycle counts
Participates in planning and scheduling for the department
ADDITIONAL DUTIES FOR MIM DEPARTMENT:
Set up and operate all semi-automated equipment
Pay special attention to detail and line clearance
Use small hand tools proficiently as needed
Perform quality inspection and testing as required
Cross train on PW-I job duties in the PHX department.

Close orders
Perform data entry
Load/Unload Annealing Oven
Perform cycle counts as directed
Purge machine between color changes
Assist with mold setting as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Machine operation experience in a production environment preferred
Dependability and ability to adapt to change are essential
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Basic computer skills for data entry and simple manipulation
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Individual contributor
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Limited temperature fluctuations, air conditioned environment
Exposure to general manufacturing environment
Non-allergy to Latex
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for at least 4 hours at a time
Have normal eye/hand motor coordination and the ability to grasp and hold small objects
Possess a normal extended reach
Consistently uses manual dexterity
Have the ability to determine color acuity
Must be able to transport, lift, and demonstrate materials, product and equipment weighing up to 55 lbs.
Pay Details: $16.25 per hour
