Ceres Environmental Operations Executive Recruiter in Sarasota, Florida

Job Summary: Ceres is seeking an executive recruiter to attract and recruit world-class executive talent to our rapidly growing and evolving company. The executive recruiter will lead our end-to-end executive talent recruiting strategy. Leveraging executive recruiting best practices, you will help drive passive and active recruiting to attract and select the best executive talent. This position involves partnering with leadership, talent acquisition, and human resources team to manage executive searches, negotiate offers, and ensure a positive experience for candidates and key internal stakeholders. As part of the broader talent acquisition team, Ceres executive recruiter act as strategic advisors to our partners in HR, and leadership across Ceres Global in the creation and execution of dynamic recruiting strategies.

The executive recruiter conducts director to vice president level searches and will be well-versed in all aspects of an executive search including research, candidate generation and development, and offer negotiations with multiple components of compensation. This role manages the full life cycle of recruiting from research and talent mapping to leading debriefs and offers. The role is a critical position that influences our future and drives great leadership hires at Ceres.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute full life cycle recruiting, include developing search strategies, sourcing, interviewing and evaluate candidates

  • Provide recommendations on qualified candidates to hiring managers and develop offers in partnership with HR

  • Assess candidates to ensure qualifications match, cultural fit, and compatibility

  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries

  • Leverage data, analytics, and research to inform recruiting strategies and influence and hiring decisions

  • Conduct research and build our talent networks to develop a map of targeted talent, companies, and geographies

  • Lead improvement of the executive recruiting function

  • Educate our leadership and hiring managers on executive recruiting best practices and labor market dynamics

  • Create robust search strategies to identify and attract top talent to drive Ceres’ future business growth and outcomes

  • Drive customer experience, building the Ceres executive recruiting brand, and demonstrate our value proposition

  • Build relationships with leadership and stakeholders across HR

  • Support the succession planning process and related employee development programs

  • Become subject matter expert on Ceres business, our competitors, and the markets we work in allowing you to tell the Ceres “story” to engage with and sell to passive candidates

  • Complete special projects as needed and lend your expertise in one or more areas of specialization (sourcing, recruitment process, etc.)

    Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of experience recruiting executive leadership talent in a competitive market

  • 5+ years of search firm or internal corporate executive recruiting experience

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, and candidate databases

  • Ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to craft effective recruiting strategies, execute at a high level, and solve complex recruiting problems

  • Ability to think strategically and focus on flawless operational and tactical execution

  • A natural collaborator who is driven to win collectively as a team

  • Easily builds rapport, trust, and influence with candidates and leadership

  • Strong negotiation skills and executive compensation expertise

  • Political savvy, business acumen, and executive presence to effectively partner with leadership and interact with executive candidate populations

  • Expertise in executive recruiting best practices at every phase of the recruiting lifecycle

  • Position may require travel up to 50% of the time

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Related Master’s degree

  • Ability to leverage assessments to make informed recruiting decisions

  • Proficient with LinkedIn and other recruiting tools/technology

  • Resourcefulness, creativity and self-motivation

  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    Moderate noise typical of an office setting such as computers, printers, phone, and light customer traffic.
