Job Overview:
The LDAR Technician will perform leak detection and repair (LDAR). Will perform a variety of applicable data collection and inspection techniques. Develops and maintains records. Work often involves analyzers, instrumentation and equipment for gathering data for inspection of oil and gas related piping and equipment. APTIM is willing to train qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Perform LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) inspections following policies and procedures tasks
Daily Analyzer calibration.
Quarterly certification of analyzers.
Communication with client and supervisor
Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
Repair leaking components.
Generate work requests and follow-up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.
Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
Will perform work in adverse weather conditions on the field (Work in hot/cold environments, inclement weather)
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Will be required to work from elevated heights at times i.e. ladders and platforms
Ability to climb tower ladders up to 100 ft.+, ascending/descending stairs
Ability to bend, stretch, walk and climb with 20 lb. backpack - up to 8-10 hours a day at industrial facility
Ability to wear a full body harness and fall arrest system in addition to up to 20 lb.+ backpack containing monitoring equipment
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical
Technical /Mechanical aptitude
Willing to train successful candiate
