Amazon Senior Product Manager, Alexa Brazil in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Are you passionate about cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and ambient computing? The Amazon Alexa International team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to improve and invent the Alexa customer experience for Brazilian Customers. As a Senior Product Manager, you will have a wide set of responsibilities to ensure our customers are delighted, including launching new Alexa powered devices and experiences and making Alexa continuously smarter. This role is equal parts business strategy and product definition/delivery. You will need to thrive and deliver results in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment – operating at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will use a combination of outstanding analytical skills, cross-functional understanding, business judgment, and strategic thinking to define the programs that improve Alexa BR Customer Experience. You will work closely with many partners such as business development, solutions architects, finance, engineering, tax, accounting, and legal to ensure customers have access to a world class Alexa experience in the BR.

Key job responsibilities

• Define user needs and identify gaps, features enhancements and opportunities to grow the business.

• Define creative, high-quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.

• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application.

• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load.

• Continuous monitor customer experience performance, identify gaps and improvement areas and build improvement plan.

• Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to the market.

• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning technology products

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from complex data

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and translate customer needs into projects using creative thinking and innovation

  • Experience thinking strategically and executing tactically, with the desire to roll up your sleeves

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools for process optimization and reporting

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluent both in English and Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Experience in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units

  • Experience in start-up type environments or short-cycle businesses

  • Knowledge of LLM and Generative Artificial Intelligence
