C.H. Robinson Pricing Analyst (Procurement) in Sao Paulo, Brazil

C.H. Robinson is looking to hire a Pricing Analyst (Procurement). In this role you will assist the Manager of Procurement Services in the day-to-day execution of procurement events. You will support both external customer engagement and the internal network. Your responsibilities will span from data preparation and managing rate submissions to system configuration, training users, developing strategies, and presenting customer deliverables. As the primary contact for most project meetings, you will complete project deliverables and balance creativity and flexibility with consistency and results. You will plan and execute complex projects, ensuring customer satisfaction while mastering and applying group methodology to varied situations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage internal and external customer expectations and relationships.

  • Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships within the internal network.

  • Transition relationships to carrier providers, customer stakeholders, and TMS providers.

  • Provide benchmarking and KPI support for customers.

  • Help define internal and external project teams.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gain commitment from project team resources.

  • Lead and facilitate project tollgate meetings, ensuring results and customer sign-off.

  • Document project scope, communications, and expectations.

  • Support group methodology, tools, techniques, infrastructure, and presentations.

  • Track project time by branch and assignment according to group guidelines.

  • Resolve project issues and escalate when necessary.

  • Assess and manage project risks.

  • Support post-engagement feedback collection and internal reviews.

  • Ensure the quality, review, and delivery of all customer documents.

  • Assist other teams, especially sales and account management, as needed.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on team and country-specific requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, project management, or transportation.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional night and weekend hours.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Six Sigma, CSCP, or process improvement experience.

  • Previous experience in project management.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, influence others, and build partnerships.

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate audience.

  • Experience communicating with and facilitating meetings for leadership-level customer roles.

  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to execute plans effectively.

  • Experience consulting, influencing, and thriving in a fast-paced, decentralized, matrixed, global environment.

  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects with strong attention to detail.

  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.

  • Knowledge of effective change management techniques.
