JOB TITLE: Marketing Project Coordinator

LOCATION: Santiago, Dominican Republic

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:

This role is responsible to support the Director of Enterprise B2B Marketing of a by administering and executing key projects that support defined Marketing strategies and tactical plans, from both a product and project perspective. This includes developing campaigns and processes, as well as executing go-to-market activities that support organizational goals such as driving growth, improving product quality and delivery, and driving new efficiencies across the organization.

The incumbent works with the direction and guidance of the Director of Enterprise B2B Marketing to manage and complete all activities and deliverables for assigned projects, at times through coordination of cross functional teams. The general focus of the job is on projects which are multi-dimensional and cross functional in scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support Go-To-Market process for assigned business unit including coordination and execution of product and processes

  • Participate in the development, implementation and management of marketing projects. Coordinate project or product activities to deliver on stated marketing and business objectives, including but not limited to the following:

  • Providing a single point of contact for all related work on assigned projects

  • Act as the voice of the customer ā€“ pre, during and post- development; seek and identify market needs and requirements; balance market needs with Jostens enterprise business strategies

  • Work with cross functional teams on approach, strategies, and content development, for project

  • Assist in the development of the vision, pacing/phasing, work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders including end users, sales, marketing, operations, service, etc. to execute and implement project plans

  • Channel integration ā€“ communication plans, education/training, implementation, market expansion, etc. in support of the in-school channel and customer service customer touch points

  • Participate in project meetings, tracking and analysis. Develop and maintain milestones and project plans.

  • Oversee multiple initiatives in parallel, in context of overall marketing project portfolio.

  • A key objective of the role is to improve communication and execution cross functionally

Required:

  • BA/BS in Business/Marketing/Product Development or related field

  • 2+ years of business experience in marketing, customer service, product line development and/or project management

  • Understanding of new product, process and / or business development

  • Understanding of product management, product life cycles and the marketing mix (4Pā€™s)

  • Understanding of Customer Service, Manufacturing and Systems required to support a product launch

  • Internet proficiency: understanding of capabilities available and how to leverage

  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and basic MS Project skills

  • Analytical and project coordination skills

  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong process orientation and meeting management skills

  • Flexible approach to developing solutions for stated challenges/opportunities

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team,

  • Ability to work across multiple levels of the organization
