Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description
Set up and operate a CNC lathe with Fanuc controls, including machines like Puma, Kia, and Hwacheon. Responsibilities include switching tools and inserts, loading and unloading fixtures, proofing the program, understanding 0 point reference, maintaining tight tolerances, running offsets, and completing in-process inspections. You will mostly work with materials like stainless steel 4140 and hastalloy. Expect to perform some editing to catch any discrepancies in the code.
Pay: up to $45/hr
Hard Skills
CNC Lathe operation
Experience with Fanuc controls and Predator software
Ability to work with stainless steel 4140 and hastalloy
Capability to run 2 machines simultaneously
Experience with 5-axis (preferred but not required)
