Naval Facilities Engineering Command EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in Santa Rita, Guam

Summary You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY SPECIALIST in the Business Production Support Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND MARIANAS. Responsibilities You will provide expert advice to line and staff personnel in the development and implementation of the EEO Affirmative Employment Plan (AEP). You will conceive methods to eliminate problems and/or overcome barriers, and personally monitor progress toward that end. You will develop and implement the Annual Affirmative Employment Program Plan/Management Directive Report. You will formulate local procedures and guidelines for achieving AEP goals and objectives for programs managed. You will compile and analyze statistical and other data to evaluate progress on individual initiatives and overall program goals. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector implementing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program initiatives, policies, procedures, and discrimination complaint matters; and analyzing workforce profiles to identify problem area and provides specific remedial initiatives to address the problem. GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing and implementing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program laws, regulations, judicial and administrative decisions, policies and procedures, and discrimination complaint matters; utilizing principles, regulations, and procedures governing human resources management administration, to include recruitment, selection, grievance, and appeals procedures; AND advising, presenting and justifying facts, considerations, and recommendations to senior management.
