What You’re Applying For: As a Strategic Dealer Success Account Manager for our National Accounts, you will ensure the overall health and retention of our largest automotive dealer accounts and dealer groups in partnership with a designated sales team. Your mission: help dealers sell more cars and our sales people acquire and retain them as clients. You’ll be the primary point of contact when a dealer signs up for our advertising services and will work closely with sales and your teammates to maintain over 2,700 dealer accounts across 47 dealer groups. You will be expected to onboard new customers, proactively reach out to maintain and improve their health, conduct on-going business reviews, deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and save pre-canceled dealers with the sales team. You’ll be assigned a portfolio of salespeople and dealer accounts. You’ll ensure the Edmunds digital marketing presence of our dealer customers is optimized for success. This includes developing a deep understanding of dealers’ business goals, facilitating successful executions across large groups, monitoring performance and representing the voice of the customer internally to drive product improvements that maximize performance. Additionally, you will be directly responsible for the successful execution of Google Analytics (GA) for your accounts including but not limited to initial setup, tracking, troubleshooting, analysis and reporting. You’ll establish trusting relationships with dealers and show the value of the Edmunds program to make them customers for life. What You’ll Do: • Strategy and Planning • Strategize on account growth opportunities, optimization of products, and non-standard solutions to product implementations based on the needs of the account in partnership with National Sales Managers • Lead corporate calls with clients to consult on product optimizations, performance metrics, opened and resolved implementation issues, and new business opportunities in partnership with National Sales Managers • Reporting and Performance Analysis • Investigate and analyze account performance issues using monthly metrics and ad hoc reports from Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, Amplitude, Databricks and Google Analytics • Own implementation of GA goals, proactive audits and analysis decks as well as serve as a GA resource for your accounts • Consultation • Advise and consult assigned National dealership groups (e.g., buyer/signer, implementer, stakeholder) by developing and growing long-term, trusted relationships with all critical contacts, including the highest level in each organization (e.g., General Manager to corporate contacts), to understand their business goals and help them achieve maximum success on our program • Act as first point of contact for dealers, sales and vendors for all assigned accounts • Own and maintain all documentation related to business rules, corporate contacts, and field instructions for your assigned accounts • Project Management • Represent the voice of the customer to solve complex issues and implement custom solutions in partnership with internal teams such as implementation, product, co-op and business operations Challenges: • Priorities can shift quickly. You will need to figure out how to balance your day to day responsibilities, ad hoc requests and putting out fires as they arise • Interacting with non-technical and very technical individuals can be difficult. You will need to have strong communication skills in order to satisfy our internal customers, external dealers and vendors • You can tell a great story. It’s important to not only understand performance data, but to be able to interpret it for others. Deliver the why and how to ensure success with our products • Identifying out of the box solutions to address unique dealer requirements. One size does not fit all • You love to be in the know! Staying up to date with GA and industry trends is an important part of being successful as an Account Manager - Nationals Accounts What You Need: • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical dealer partners, vendors and internal teams • Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Solid analytical skills in order to visualize, articulate, understand and tell stories through data • Solid judgment and critical thinking skills. You love to solve complex problems • You’re comfortable with ambiguity, know how to clarify for action and understand what drives business value • Desire to learn The compensation range for this position is $67,400 - $117,600 per year. The base pay will take into account internal equity as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
