Robert Half International Administrative Assistant in Santa Maria, California

Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Medical Receptionist/Scheduler for a well known Santa Maria Medical Organization. In this role, you will communicate with patients, scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and updating medical records. Responsibilities may also include coordinating the maintenance and conservation of office supplies and equipment. Candidates with strong computer skills, experience working with customer database systems, and a high accuracy with at least 60 words per minute are strongly desired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers, screens and transfers inbound phone calls

  • Receive and direct visitors and clients

  • General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing

  • Maintains electronic and hard copy filing system

  • Handles requests for information and data

  • Schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors

Requirements

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct administrative support

  • Must be proficient in multi-tasking

  • Have the ability to write well-constructed emails and correspondence

  • Must be timely and have excellent attention to detail

  • Computer skills - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
