Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Santa Fe Springs, California

Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, California. This role will require you to use your expertise in financial analysis and business systems to help streamline our operations and improve our decision-making processes. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be involved in various aspects of financial planning and analysis, including sales analysis, pricing, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microsoft Power BI to create reports that aid in decision-making

• Work closely with the sales team to analyze trade deductions, credit memos, and chargebacks

• Assist in the integration of Power BI with our ERP system, Microsoft Business Central

• Provide training and support to the team on how to use reports for decision-making

• Conduct pricing analysis and standard cost application to sales

• Oversee the analysis of products on sale in grocery stores and manage related costs

• Participate in the implementation of new software and systems

• Monitor accounting functions and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy

• Assist in budget processes and capital management

• Use Data Mining Techniques to gather and analyze business data. Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, or in a similar role.

• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI software.

• Knowledge of CRM, Confluence, Business systems, and Crystal Reports.

• Experience with Data Mining Techniques and Software Implementations.

• Proficient in 'About Time' software.

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing.

• Experience with Budget Processes and Capital Management.

• Ability to conduct Pricing Analysis and handle Chargebacks.

• Familiarity with Implementation processes.

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Adherence to a strict code of ethics and confidentiality.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the location of the job.
