Summary:

This entry-level role will help to facilitate business transformation for our customers, our partners, and our own team. As a services sales trainee you will be introduced to multiple facets of our services and distribution business in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to engage with customers daily, work with the CED Account Managers, enable existing sales activity, and deliver solutions. The result should be an experience that helps define future career opportunities and growth pathways.

Reports to: AIMM Business Development Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical professional experience

  • General interest in technology and manufacturing

  • Ability to travel within the greater Los Angeles region

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and self-managed towards objectives

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods.

  • Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinets

  • Travel within the greater Los Angeles area

Essential Job Functions:

  • Be a team member involved in creating value for our customers though first-class customer service and responsiveness.

  • Initiate assessment services that lead to service contracts that help customers reach their objectives.

  • Actively participate in training programs to learn and understand our technology and industry segments.

  • Conduct all business ethically, legally, and according to our company protocols and limited distribution agreements.

  • Think creatively, develop new programs or unique customer solutions.

  • Work closely with various subject matter experts, sales staff, marketing team members and ecosystem partners to understand and deliver solutions.

  • Collaborate with business development leaders to support sales efforts in their respective territories.

  • Learn how to lead initiatives and put your newfound knowledge to work on customer-facing strategic campaigns.

  • Learn to analyze spreadsheets and customer data to provide insightful proposals to our customers.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $28.85 to $36 hourly.
