Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Santa Fe Springs, California. As part of our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, your role will involve a range of tasks related to managing payables and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing a high volume of payables
• Conducting three-way match procedures for invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports
• Handling extensive data entry tasks
• Utilizing Oracle for various accounts payable functions
• Applying Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Processing customer credit applications
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar position.
• Proficiency in using Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar enterprise resource planning software.
• Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry would be advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
