Dignity Health Radiology Physician in Santa Cruz, California

Overview

Foundation Physicians Medical Group (FPMG) , a multi-specialty medical group aligned with Dignity Health, is seeking to add Radiologists to live/work in the beautiful coastal city of Santa Cruz, CA .

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Full complement of specialties CT/MR/PET/US/X-ray

  • Must be comfortable reading Head CT

  • No mammography

  • Merge PACS and PS 360

  • Expanding radiology service

  • Egalitarian group with excellent colleagues

  • Light shared call w/ after hours coverage

Package includes:

  • Highly competitive compensation ($500-$600k) with signing bonus and moving allowance

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.

  • Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

  • Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.

  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.

  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

  • Fellowship training desirable

Pay Range

$228.00 - $288.00 /hour
