Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The CLS performs a variety of technical analyses verifies results and assures quality and accuracy of tests under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor(s) Laboratory Manager(s) Laboratory Administrative Director and Laboratory Medical Director (Pathologist).
Qualifications
Minimum:
Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
Bachelor's degree in a chemical physical or biological science from an accredited institution.
Ability to demonstrate a familiarity and understanding of medical terminology typing math and computer skills
Requires one (1) year of training post baccalaureate
Preferred:
- Two (2) years working in a laboratory setting; Co-op or internship experience in a laboratory setting or prior acute care experience
Pay Range
$68.21 - $79.10 /hour
