The Opportunity
We are seeking a Specialist LMS Administrator to work out of our Santa Clara, CA location for our Vascular division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.
The Specialist LMS Administrator will maintain the quality and compliance of material on the LMS. Monitor expiration dates of material within the LMS and communicate renewal timelines to stakeholders. Coordinate localization publishing projects for OUS regions. Support publishing and troubleshooting for Sales Training in all regions. Renew content as needed. Connect physician or rep training in iSpring to OneForce as needed.
What You’ll Work On
Responsible for understanding digital platform capabilities and responsible for training key users of each platform, with an emphasis on web.
Responsible for platform project management including establishing business requirements, defining functional specifications and use cases and performing functional and UA testing.
Responsible for project coordination including timeline management, meeting facilitation, and action item follow-up across partners for platform implementation.
Manages and prioritizes issues and new features with IT partners and vendors across platforms.
Manages platforms including user access, feature updates and maintenance.
Leads and supports research and testing of possible platforms in support of Digital platform roadmap.
Supports new digital platform requests by providing process guidance, technology options and feedback on business cases.
Utilizes agile workflow in ongoing work assignments.
Optimizes performance of platforms through a data driven approach for each channel, using data to improve technologies and features.
Works closely with internal peers and groups including Corporate, Legal, Regulatory and Privacy to ensure governance and platform alignment with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
High attention to detail and superior organization skills.
Project management skills.
Instructional design and eLearning publishing skills.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with global internal and external (physician) individuals.
Cross-functional leadership. This role will need to lead and enforce compliant practices across geographies.
Establish and maintain standards and practices.
High computer literacy.
Familiarity with language translation and publishing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technical Communication, Project Management or equivalent.
3 years of project management and/or resource planning experience
Experience working in a regulated marketing/education environment across multiple geographies with a strong preference for medical devices.
Instructional design experience.
Administrative experience with Learning Management Systems.

The base pay for this position is $83,600.00 – $167,200.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
