Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Vehicle Test Engineer to join one of our largest tech clients in the Bay Area.

What youll be doing:

· Handle end-to-end AV software testing for autonomous driving functions (like ACC, LK etc) & parking, collaborating with teams across the Automotive platform.

· Validate product in the car and review requirements, develop test metrics and establish KPI-metrics evaluation.

· Design test routes and perform tests at larger scale to ensure SW quality could match expectations of the end user.

· Report events as per the defined protocols including Safety and work with collaborators to improve the reports, communication.

· Triage Lev1 events and put analysis for stakeholders to review.

·Preform testing based on test plans to collect proving ground and public road scenarios to ensure comprehensive real-world testing for ADAS/AS SW features.

· Collect quality and valuable expert feedback from test drives and present them with multi-functional feature PICs/Leads.

· Debugging issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes, and chip in to process improvements.

This role can pay between $50-$70/hour depending on years of experience and skillset.

Skills and Requirements

· 3+ years of testing experience for ADAS features.

· Willingness to work the night shift (5pm-1pm PST)

· BS or MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science related field.

· Experience with Linux/QNX systems.

· Prior experience in Vehicle bring up, Verification and Validation test at large scale.

· Prior experience on AV Triage workflows. · Proven large scale test experience in autonomous Driving (L2/L2+) and Parking product with excellence in debugging and problem solving skills.

· Experience in AV development, testing or Automotive Standards ISO26262, ISO21448. null
