AWS Industry Products (AIP) is a new AWS engineering organization chartered to build new AWS products by applying Amazon’s innovation mechanisms along with AWS digital technologies to real world industry problems. Key job responsibilities
As an SDE-T in you will partner with developers and product managers to define comprehensive test strategies for complex distributed systems, APIs, and applications. Once the strategy is defined you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
In addition, you will be the Champion a Quality continuously seeking ways to improve the quality of our products.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
4+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
2+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
Experience with web services and REST APIs
Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
Experience with designing and building large-scale web services using AWS technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work well in a high performing team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
