Our client, a leader in the development and application of advanced diamond coatings, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician in the Santa Clara, CA area. Key qualifications include 3-5 years of experience in high-technology chemical or coating process manufacturing, with knowledge of thin-film coatings and/or CVD/PVD processes being desirable. A high school diploma or GED is required

responsibilities:
The role involves preparing customer-supplied products for diamond adhesion using chemical, electrochemical, and mechanical processes. It requires operating CVD diamond coating equipment to diamond coatings to various products, as well as handling ancillary equipment for post-processing to enhance product function and appearance. The position also emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and recommending improvements for equipment safety and performance. Additionally, the role includes inspecting incoming, in-process, and outgoing products, refining the inspection process to meet or exceed customer requirements while reducing in-house scrap. Lastly, it involves implementing processes developed by Process Engineering and R&D into the production environment
